Skate Park Rules

Texas law (Chapter 75, Civil Practice and Remedies Code) limits the liability of a governmental unit for damages arising directly from hockey, in-line hockey, skating, in-line skating, roller-skating, skateboarding, roller-blading, or soap box derby use on premises that the governmental unit owns, operates, or maintains for that purpose.

Hours of Operation
Dawn to Dusk: This skate park is not equipped with night time lighting

The Following Are Not Permitted On the Skating Surface
  • Pets
  • Bicycles, Motorized Vehicles, or other Wheeled Devices
The Following Are Not Permitted at the Skate Park
  • Glass Containers
  • Profanity, Fighting, and/or other Disorderly Behavior
General Rules
  • Safety gear (helmets, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards) is strongly recommended
  • Skateboards and in-line skates only
  • Skate Park is considered closed during bad weather (rain, lightning, sleet, snow, etc.)
  • Inspect park before using and notify Boerne Parks and Recreation Deptartment of any problems (830-249-9511, option 5)
  • No alcohol or tobacco are allowed at the Skate Park
  • No gum, food, or drinks are allowed on the Skate Park surface
  • No graffiti or defacing property
  • No modifications to existing ramps or additional obstacles or materials allowed
  • All other City of Boerne park rules apply

  • Graffiti = Park closed! Protect your skate park from graffiti and abuse
  • In an emergency call 911
  • Competitive events or demonstrations require prior approval of the Parks and Recreation Department (830-249-9511, option 5.)
