About the Assistant City Manager

Linda S. Zartler began her career with the City of Boerne as the City Secretary in December, 1995. She served in that capacity until July, 2011. She has oversight of the Administration, Human Resources, Municipal Court, Information Technology, and Animal Services Departments. She works closely with the Mayor and City Council, the City Manager, department heads and the general public.

Prior to her service with the City of Boerne, Ms. Zartler held the position of City Supervisor/City Secretary at the City of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas from 1988 to 1995.

Ms. Zartler has been a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk since 1995 and has been recertified at a TRMC in 2000, 2005, and 2010. Additionally, she has received the designation of IPMA-CP, a certified professional/specialist, from the International Public Management Association for Human Resources. She is a member of the Texas Municipal Human Resource Association, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and the Texas City Managers Association.
