    Reg Bell started painting at age five and used primarily pencil until his early college years. At age 55 he was diagnosed with cancer which gave him the drive to leave the business world and pursue his art in Oregon. There he was taught by a Master Artist Carver and in using this skill he once again found his love for drawing. Since then Reg has been using colored pencils, despite being color blind, and has won many awards. Reg Bell’s art work will be on display at the Patrick Heath Public Library throughout the month of January.

    Alicia Owens, aka Teacup Techie, will be on hand in the main lobby each Tuesday at 10am & 6pm to answer your technology questions. No appointments are necessary, but we ask that you spend no more than 15-20 minutes per session, so that others will also have a chance to get assistance.

Come join a great group of yarn crafters of all ages and skill levels. We meet each Wednesday afternoon, from 1pm to 3pm, on the 2nd floor, to share our yarn craft projects, knitting techniques, yarns, interesting materials and creative ideas. There is no set leader or exact time. Just come and go as you please. We are here to encourage, support and inspire each other.

    Mary’s Potpourri is a new discussion group that meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 10am. The titles are quite eclectic. The meetings are facilitated by volunteer Mary van Hoorn.
