Update - The slate of candidates for the City’s May 4th general and special elections are now set. For the General Election, Tim Handren, the current District 5 representative running for the mayor position, is unopposed; Nina Woolard, the current District 2 representative is unopposed, and Brian Fowler is unopposed for the District 4 seat. Due to resignations from Steven Tye (district 3) and Tim Handren (district 5), a special election is also being held.  Two candidates have filed for the District 3 race – Quinten Scott and Daniel Weis. The City is currently accepting applications until 5pm on Monday, March 25 from candidates for the District 5 race.

The Special Election will be on the same ballot as the General Election and the Special Election for Districts 3 and 5 will state “unexpired term”.  Early voting will begin April 22 and end on April 30.
