The featured event this year is a panel discussion with Stephen Harrigan, author of the new definitive book on Texas, “Big Wonderful Thing: A History of Texas,” out October 1st from the UT Press. Other panel discussions include western film, poetry, stories of healing and the magic of children’s books. Crafts, music and storytelling for little ones round out this free day celebrating the wonder of books and reading!
